I teach because it is love. I teach because it is my way to make a difference.

I love watching the light bulb go off in my students minds when the dots are finally connected.

I love the excitement when a student grasps a new concept for the first time, or finds something that turns into their passion. I love when students learn to work together to accomplish what they once thought was impossible. I love when they explore the world around them and discover a love for learning. I love when my students are no longer afraid to dream of what might be.

My hope is that the love that I have for teaching provides my students with the power to become more then what they ever thought they could be. My hope is that I can create lifelong learners, who enjoy the challenge of the hunt for knew knowledge. My hope is that I create Eco-sensitive individuals in my classroom who have the bravery to live life environmentally friendly and to help carry on that message to others. My hope is that my students face their fear, as fear is the only thing we really have to be afraid of.
