Professional Goal

I am a lifelong learner with a love for pedagogy, computer science, & all subjects of commerce. I have worked in many different areas of education, customer relations, computational & environmental science. I take pride in meeting the needs of my customers, students, parents, and co-workers. I produce innovative solutions by applying the knowledge which I have accumulated over my work and educational history. This includes courses in multiple programming languages, HTML, JavaScript, ArcGIS, management, and marketing. As well as educational courses in teaching reading, language arts, math, and science.

 

Professional Experience

June 2019 – Current

Educator, Marine Science Center, Volusia County

Produce a quality learning environment that focuses on marine and environmental sciences, encouraging the hands-on interaction between the guest and nature.

Work includes: Developing lessons pertinent to marine and environmental science; to include exhibit gallery educational guides, staff guides, summer camp programs, and field trip programs. Developing a Customer Relationship Management Program for volunteers. Administering hands-on activities to allow students/guests to enjoy the learning environment, educating students/guests during outdoor hands-on activities to include seine net fishing, pole-fishing, canoeing, animal watching, shelling, live reptile presentations, squid and owl pellet dissections. Basic aquarium animal husbandry. Student check-in, check-in out, and accountability, supervising the learning environment to ensure safety of all students, driving of a twelve-passenger van to different locations, website creation and administration for daily parent updates.

 

March 2019 – Current

Substitute Teacher, Volusia County Schools

In lieu of a teacher absence I take over the educational environment to ensure a safe and effective day for all students.

Work includes: Taking role & accounting for children during the school day, administering lessons as provided by supervising teacher, creating quality lessons when there are none provided, dismissing children in a safe orderly fashion, ensuring a safe environment throughout the entire school day.

 

June 2011 – March 2019

Certified Customer Service and Sales Representative, Frontier Communications         
Inbound customer service and sales expert who was skilled to take repair, collections, marketing, and sales calls.

Work includes: Worked from home remotely, taking payments, processing repair tickets, contacting field technicians for updates, settling disputes with adjustments and investigations, creating restore orders, creating new install & disconnect orders, programming services & pricing within our company-based computer systems, activating promotions, working with tech support & assignments to correct accounts, fulfilling customer's needs to ensure customer satisfaction.

Special Projects Completed: Interim Lead- managing representatives on the teams to ensure they are meeting call metrics, flow, and sales goals. Office of the President- executive/president level escalations. Chat support for new employees - help ensure proper procedures and policies are followed as they transition into their new positions with Frontier. SME – Subject Matter Expert on new programs and procedures, working as a liaison between employee and developer.

 

March 2018 – August 2018

Operations Support Tier 2, Long Term Temp Project, Frontier Communications

Performed as a level two support to the back-office operations team by taking calls from level one operations consultants and helping them resolve complex problems.

Work includes: Working through a workflow system to complete units that are resolving issues on accounts in the back-end system. Creating shell orders for online representatives to resolve customer's issues, workflow projects, account review and analysis, activating, deactivating, and correcting billing issues by using basic programming functions. Ensure customer satisfaction in all aspects of visiting our establishment and oversee employee duties.

Work includes: Opening/closing duties, counting/balancing till, cashing out other bartenders/servers, ensuring employees are completing their duties, serving customer's, processing checks, credit cards, and providing change. Mixing drinks for customers and servers to be served to patrons. Multiple establishments were opened over the 7-year employment with same people.
